Ooma

Ooma is a free phone service device. We decided to buy the device which will set you back a one time cost of $249 from Best-Buy. We figured normal phone cost areopund $25 a month so as long as we use it for 10 months we are set. We didn't get any cell coverage at Barbara's place so thought this was a great option. We didn't have an existing home phone number, which you can port over to the system so we got a free new number. It all has worked great since we've had it (over 2 months). When comcast drop our internet coverage the phone doesn't work but that has only happened once. I would highly recommend getting this if you want a free home phone number. They do offer a premiere service for $19.99 a month but we have no need for it. Check it out it works great.

Got Engaged

So for any who haven't heard Barbara and I got engaged on Dec. 20th. We were Christmas shopping on Michigan Ave all day, then went to the Four Seasons, for a drink and hot chestnuts, they have a piano player and when Barbara said this is my favorite Christmas song I got down on one knee and asked her if she'd marry me. She was surprised and said yes, then they gave us two glassed of Dom and a plate of strawberries, which was unexpected and very nice. She's been planning ever since.

I'm Broken

So as of last Sunday my left arm's bicep is totally shot. Don't know how or why but it decided to stop functioning. As of today I'm back to 90% but what a crappy week. So the holidays are once agian upon us and so is Lunner and all other things grand about the winter. hope to see everyone at one point or another. Happy early Holiday's to all. Hope you get your shopping done early.

So what the heck

I'm slightly disappointed in the new iPod touch line up. No new 64GB size. what the heck apple. Anyhow, there's nothing to new to say. Barbara and I are going to Wrigley this Sunday to go on the park tour, so that's gonna be fun, we'll probably watch the game after words. Then there the Cubs game for my dad and I on Wed. It's bobblehead night and we're in the bleachers, so watch out. Nothing else new to report. Got a new phone that's working good, the Nokia e71.

Long time no See

Just spent the weekend at Thor's 1st Birthday party. The cake was sugary but good. Always fun to enjoy a soda or two. Other than that there's really no news to report. Got to go, Cubs night game this Thursday against Philly. See you there.

Bought some shares of apple at $130 who thinks this is a good idea? I'm feeling pretty safe in thinking this is a good bet but who knows. this weekend is the old dinner club in the city so I'll see you there if you are going. If not then I won't see you.
