She's a german shorthaired pointer. She's 8 weeks going on 9. Barbara and I got her from a breeder in Iowa over Memorial Day weekend. She's a real treat so far.

CS4 to CS5 Upgrade - What a Joke/Rip Off

What a joke. The service at Adobe is unbelievable, a purchase of $1000 software less than 43 days ago is met with a 30 day limitation on a free upgrade. This is the way they run a business. I understand no one is forcing me to upgrade but at a cost of $500 is ridiculous. Their so called teir system should be fairly based off of purchase date not version. Provide some fair pricng for someone in such short time range. An upgrade of half the price is ridiculous. Consider my business gone forever.

Guess What

Yes it's ture Barbara and I are married. We hope everyone who could attend had a great time, we sure did. And two weeks in warm weather was a treat also.

As well as drop box which gives you 2gb to store for free, and syncs to multiple machines and mobile phones.

PC stands for?

Barbara cracked me up with this one. We say one of those PC ads that say go out and find a this priced laptop and we'll pay you for it. After seeing that whole thing she looks over at me and goes you know what PC stands for? and I say what? She goes piece of crap. I almost spit out my beer I laughed so hard. Then she goes PS it's also a piece of shit. And again I laughed my ass off. Well done Barbara, I guess you really like that Apple laptop.

Ooma

Ooma is a free phone service device. We decided to buy the device which will set you back a one time cost of $249 from Best-Buy. We figured normal phone cost areopund $25 a month so as long as we use it for 10 months we are set. We didn't get any cell coverage at Barbara's place so thought this was a great option. We didn't have an existing home phone number, which you can port over to the system so we got a free new number. It all has worked great since we've had it (over 2 months). When comcast drop our internet coverage the phone doesn't work but that has only happened once. I would highly recommend getting this if you want a free home phone number. They do offer a premiere service for $19.99 a month but we have no need for it. Check it out it works great.
